el volumen se presenta como palabra suya: el Prologue va firmado «Emmanuel» (p. 13), el título de la Introduction de Ram Dass es «My Friend Emmanuel» (p. 15) y la portada reza «Emmanuers Book» (p. 7), con el apóstrofo perdido por el OCR. Ram Dass describe a esa voz como alguien «who is not embodied on the plane of reality that is so familiar to my senses» (p. 19) y cita su autodescripción, «I am spirit and you are spirit» (p. 19). Lo que el volumen NO hace es dar una mención de responsabilidad formal a ese nombre: la única impresa es «Compiled by», y aquí no se arbitra entre las dos«Emmanuel's Book (Some Friends of Emmanuel, 1985) · pp. 7, 13, 15, 19»
